The firm was established in 1990. It is based in the United Kingdom with consultants located in the UK and Czech Republic.

The mission of Batt-Consulting is “Increasing Bank Profitability at Acceptable Risk”. To accomplish this, the firm provides three groups of services to banks: management consulting, top team training, and the establishment of best practices.

Our Role As Management Consultants

In helping clients to find ways to increase profitability at acceptable risk, we assist with resolving complex issues relating to overall strategy, marketing, selling, credit, asset & liability management (ALM), risk management, organisational structure, management processes, IT, human resources, planning, control, MIS and corporate governance.

Our approach to problem solving is objective and analytical. Clients find our business judgements, based on years of practical experience, valuable. We judge our own success by the success of our clients in implementing our proposals.

Our Role in Top Team Training

Our consultants design and lead short, intensive workshops & seminars for the senior management teams of banks. Typically, the 15 - 30 most senior executives attend these in-house meetings that normally last from 2 to 5 days.

Banking institutes, central banks, banking academies, bankers' associations, universities and other leading sponsors of high quality seminars also often ask us to design and lead public training meetings for senior bankers.

From time-to-time, we organise the "Batt Strategy Seminars". These public meetings are designed to review key challenges facing banks and the ways leading banks are dealing with them.

Our Role In Establishing Best Practices

Working with leading banks, Batt-Consulting has defined “world-class”, and lesser standards of performance and management for many key business and functional areas of banking. The firm has a range of powerful methodologies for assessing banks against these standards so that they can decide how to reach “world-class” levels over a defined period.

The methodologies are objective, quick and inexpensive to apply. They are in great demand.
